ADDITIVES TO CESSPOOLS OR SEPTIC TANKS
The Board of Health of the Town of Walpole, Commonwealth of Massachusetts, acting under the authority of Chapter III, Section 3I of the Massachusetts General Laws and any amendments and additions thereto, and by any other power thereto enabling, and acting thereunder and in accordance with, have, in the interest of and for the preservation of the public health, duly made and adopted the following regulation concerning additives to cesspools or septic tanks:
No chemical or biological additive is allowed in the cesspools or septic tanks in the Town of Walpole unless approval in writing is granted by the Town of Walpole Board of Health.
Any licensed septic hauler who violates this regulation will be subject to license suspension. This regulation will become effective as of January 1, 1993.
