This webinar covers all PHEPR capabilities, but might be particularly relevant to the evidence for COVID-19 mitigation strategies involving Capability 11, Non-pharmaceutical Interventions, such as social distancing, isolation of cases, quarantining of contacts, use of personal protective equipment, hand washing, disinfection and sanitation procedures, school and business closings and other lock-down and reopening mandates.

Marcia A. Testa, M.P.H., M.Phil., Ph.D., MAHB’s President and Co-Director, Emergency Preparedness, Research, Evaluation and Practice,(EPREP) Program at Harvard Chan School of Public Health, contributed to this important project by providing a comprehensive and systematic review of PHEPR published literature commissioned by NASEM.  The Harvard study entitled “Review and Evidence Mapping of Scholarly Publications Within the CDC’s 15 Public Health Emergency Preparedness and Response Capabilities” was part of a Harvard Chan EPREP practicum project within the M.P.H.
